A story of love, family and second chances, Cooking Up Christmas satisfies like a home-cooked meal shared during the holidays.

When Tessa left her small hometown for a fast-paced advertising job and city lifestyle, she never considered that losing touch with Christmas traditions would impact her creative spirit. When a holiday campaign pitch for the firm’s biggest client falls flat, Tessa finds herself on a forced vacation back to Chestnut Ridge to face her mom’s expectations of a holiday like the old days and a confusing resurgence of feelings for the love she left behind. Desperate for guidance to make sense of her past decisions, demanding career and lost relationships, Tessa rediscovers her nana’s recipe book, where she’s reminded to stop and smell the cooking.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like a Hallmark Movie - I read this all in one sitting. It's like a Hallmark movie, very refreshing with relationship and family issues. Also focused on what is important in life. I really enjoyed this book and felt it was well written.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Book - Loved the book, Awesome read

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Enjoyable Christmas Read - This was a predictable story of woman going home for Christmas against her will. She discovers what she has been missing in her life and finds a happy ending with her high-level school love. The side story of her reconnection to her mother and the town is a nice plus. It is a feel good book that I would recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved This Book - Tessa found what she thought she had lost. Like Scrooge, she had to accept some unsavory truths. A good holiday story with some romance included.
